2024-07-16T13:52:49+00:00 Hi chip_027,
I hope changing the boot order worked. Let me know. If not, please create a USB setup disk from another system using the Media Creation Tool or Rufus.

2024-07-16T13:40:22+00:00 Hi Ramesh. Thank you for recommending changing the boot order. and yes the drive contains a system (arch linux). so i was not able to use the windows media creation tool, so instead i used the dd command.

The error message suggests that the system is booting from the hard drive instead of the USB setup disk.
To boot the computer using the USB setup disk, you may need to change the boot order in the BIOS/UEFI settings. Consult your system or motherboard manual to learn how to access the UEFI settings for your model.
Does the hard drive contain any Operating System, or is it an empty drive?
Also, did you use the Media Creation Tool to create the USB setup disk?
