Before leaving my house I shut off my msi gaming computer by pressing and holding the start button. When i came back today I turned my pc on and it gave me the msi loading screen, then a windows blue screen saying that something serious happened and windows will not let my computer start to prevent further damage, then it tries to restart, then I get the windows recovery page after the restart fails. I tried safe mode and it keeps running into a problem, I tried uninstalling previous updates and that fails, what could be causing this issue and how do I fix it?

Hi Ebony. My name is Lester, and I am an Independent Advisor. I'd be more than happy to assist you. I'm so sorry that you are experiencing this issue. Don't worry, I'll do everything I can to help you.

It is always recommended to properly shut down your PC by clicking the shutdown icon in Windows.

Remove all unnecessary external devices connected to your computer, and then follow these steps:

Start your PC, and when you see the loading dots, press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds to shut down forcefully.

Do this 2-3 times. This will enter you into the Windows Troubleshooting environment.

On the Choose an option screen, please try the following:

Troubleshoot > Advanced > System Restore

You can select a date before the issue.

Troubleshoot > Reset This PC (Keep My Files)

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please let me know. Thank you.
