How do I resolve that ?

I want to set up my face id and it is not working but the notification I'm seing is that, this option is currently not available and also we couldn't find a camera compactibilty with Windows Hello Face.

    Fred, I didn't receive the information I am asking for in order to look up the specs specifically to your model.

    If your camera doesn't have infrared capacity, there's unfortunately nothing you can do. It is a hardware limitation, not software.

    I can certainly help look up, but I need to know your computer's brand and exact model number.

    If you don't know this infor, please type msinfo32.exe in the search on the taskbar and hit enter, then share a screenshot of the pop up please.

    Hello Fred, this is Emily.

    In order for facial recognition to work, your camera needs to have the infrared capacity. If it is just a regular camera, even if it is high definition, it will not support facial recognition.

    Yuo can go to your computer's manufacturer website, look up the specs for your specific model to see if your camera is an infrared (IR) one to verify your hardware eligibility.
