18% Physical Memory

I was looking at the task manager today and it showed 18% physical memory. Is that a good thing?

    Yes. That means that you have 82% of your memory available for use by other system functions or application programs. It suggests that your computer isn't "working very hard."

    If you select the "Performance" tab of Task Manager, you'll get a bit more detail:

    And if you want even more detail, click the "Resource Monitor" button.
