I just built a new PC, and I am getting the HYPERVISOR_ERROR bsod, It happened twice while the PC was idling with little more than a web browser in the background, and a third time while I was trying to write this question. I have attached the three .dmp files in the minidump folder. I am on Win 11 Home (Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631), which is why I find this error code to be so strange.

3 Items <--- contents of my minidump folder

    Thanks for sharing the screenshot.

I see some devices are connected through the USB ports like G502 Hero (the mouse) and G733(the Headset). Both are Logitec products. You can update their drivers from the Logitec official link.

If they do not provide a specific website, you can uninstall these drivers, and then restart your computers to reinstall them by itself.

If you have a spare mouse and headset, you can replace the current one to see if the issue persists.

Please feel free to ask if you have more questions.

Thanks for the reply. I did as you asked, and found something I'd like clarification on. In step 2 of your instructions, I assumed that you wanted me to go to the Device Manager and I did so. I opened the category for Universal Serial Bus Controllers, and found this.

Should I delete the driver software for all of these root hubs? Thanks again for the help.

Thanks for sharing the minidump files.

The minidump files indicate HIDCLASS.SYS as a cause of the crash which is related to the USB drivers.

To troubleshoot this issue, kindly try the following steps:

1-Go to Settings > Update and Security > Check for updates > Install all pending updates.

2-Right click on Start > Expand Universal Serial Bus Controller > Right click on the USB Root Hub and click on Uninstall > Check the box 'Delete the driver software for this device' > Uninstall > Restart your computer and see if your computer would be stable or not.

3-Disconnect all unnecessary devices attached to the USB ports. If possible, use another mouse and keyboard.

Please let me know if you need further assistance and keep me posted.

    Hi,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

The minidump files did not name any driver, only pointing to ntkrnlmp.exe, a Windows component. This means that a different factor led to the system error or it could be a memory corruption that usually happens due to incompatible drivers.

To troubleshoot this issue, kindly, enable the driver verifier and let the computer crash 3 times then disable it and share the newly created minidump file:
