I followed the steps to find my product key. Both ways gave a different key and both keys were "Invalid" when inserting them in so Word would work. What am I doing wrong? Any ideas how to talk to a real person to get this sorted? I have been trying to fix this for months now.

    Hello, this is Emily.

Since I have no idea in what ways and what steps you followed, so it is hard to explain why they are different and why they didn't work.

What is the context here? Did you change hardware, or performa clean install, or a reset? Why did the computer need activation at the first place??

Can you please type cmd in the search on the taskbar and hit enter to launch command prompt, then run the following command:

    slmgr /dlv

Then share a screenshot please. Thanks!
