Is an ERD Tool still necessary with Azure Data Factory?

As I continue to understand how to leverage Azure's data resources, is an entity relationship of data flow diagram still necessary when deploying a data warehouse?

If so, what is a good diagramming tool that works well with Azure?

    Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform.

    To work with Azure Data Factory, ERD tool is not necessary.

    If you want to use ERD tool, you can use the latest version of SQL Server Management Studio to create a Database Diagram.
