Windows keep adding additional language layout automatically.

I have Windows 11 and I am located in India. I use English (US) and Hindi keyboard layouts for work. Windows keeps adding another layout named 'English (India)' automatically everytime I restart my system. I tried everything to stop this from happening but nothing worked. Is there a permanent solution to this?

    Hi Rajeev, This is Ramesh.

Delete the English (India) layout and do the following before rebooting Windows.

    Open Control Panel.

Click “Region”. If you’re in Category view, click Clock and Region → Region.

    Select the “Administrative” tab.

    Click “Copy settings.”

Select “Welcome screen and system accounts” and “New user accounts”

    Click OK.

    Restart Windows.

You can also remove unwanted keyboard layouts using PowerShell.

(Anway, you need to use the "Copy settings" option in the Control Panel after using PowerShell to remove the unwanted locales.)
