BitLocker question. My computer will not even open up the windows when hit the key. Also when I go to reset on the bitlocker screen it just goes to another screen the pops me back out to the previous. My question is does anyone know if it’s possible to save my word documents before resetting the computer.

You will need another windows PC to create USB installation media.
Go to Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com) and select Download Now under Create Windows 10 Installation media.
Then once you have the new USB flash drive transfer it to the problem computer and boot from it. (the way to select boot from USB is different for the manufacturer)
Once you have booted form the USB select Language > Install now > Custom install. At custom install select each partition and Delete until there is only unallocated space. With just unallocated space select Next and follow the onscreen prompts.
If asked for a product key select I don't have a key and continue until windows is installed.
Thank you for replying. It didn’t say under the account or anywhere that I can think of. I guess I will have to reset it but can’t on the computer I need some kind of drive
If you don't have the correct recovery key or it isn't working then you cannot reset you will nee to clean install. Files cannot be recovered without the correct key.
Did you set BitLocker or have you used your computer on your companies domain?
The recovery key should be saved to your account or a company account.
