Constant BSOD while running certain applications

Hi there,

I've been having BSOD issues with my PC for a few months, it has been completely random as to when it occurs. It was once every few days, but as of yesterday, its been happening a lot more frequently. Each time giving me a different stop code.

I have tried doing different fixes to try and get it to stop, but it's still occurring. I tried Driver Verifier which gave me a stop code about a violation, and I've tried going through my drivers to see which might be faulty. These are the stop codes I have received in the last day

  • DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION
  • IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

It seems to be a driver issue of some sort, but I have been unable to isolate the issue with it giving me multiple stop codes. I've created a Zip folder, containing the last few Mini dumps that were generated just in case it shows what is actually wrong.

If you require anything else, please let me know!

Thank you for any help you can provide.

    Hi Weicheng,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

The minidump files did not name any driver, only pointing to ntkrnlmp.exe, a Windows component. This means that a different factor led to the system error or it could be a memory corruption that usually happens due to incompatible drivers.

To troubleshoot this issue, kindly try the steps below ( Skip a step that you have already tried):

Uninstall the graphics card driver completely using the DDU free tool:

    https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-dr...

Then, install the latest driver provided on the manufacturer's website.

Uninstall any third-party security software and scan for viruses & malware with the free Malwarebytes:

If you are overclocking your PC, try running everything (CPU, GPU, system memory) at their stock speeds. See if the issue is still reproducible. Or, turn off XMP profile or set it to Auto.

Download then install the latest version of BIOS & Chipset drivers from the manufacturer's website.

Test the RAM with the free utility MemTest86, then run a full 8 pass scan to test your RAM for physical errors:

Please do not hesitate to ask if you need further assistance.
