Hello, Eli Garcia1
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
Thank you for your feedback. When your Dell computer shows “Boot device not found. Press any key to restart the computer”, it usually means that the system can't find the hard disk or other boot devices. This can be due to hardware issues, incorrect BIOS settings or a corrupted hard disk. Here is a way to troubleshoot the problem:
- Check the BIOS settings
Make sure your hard disk is properly recognized and set as a boot device.
Enter BIOS setup:
Reboot your computer.
When you see the Dell logo, press F2 (or F12, depending on your model) to enter BIOS setup.
Check the boot sequence:
In BIOS Setup, find the “Boot” tab.
Make sure your hard disk is listed as the first boot device in the boot order. If not, adjust the order.
Check hard disk detection:
In BIOS setup, find the “Main” or “System Information” tab and make sure your hard disk is detected correctly. If it is not detected, there may be a hardware connection problem.

If you are going to modify BIOS Settings, please back up all your personal files first to ensure you do not lose data.
You can also send me a screenshot of your BIOS boot sequence entries.
I look forward to your feedback, which will help me pinpoint your problem.
