Problem while updating windows

Question

When I try to install the update (KB5040427) the pc shows a message telling that was not possible update it and it keeps restarting for some time, like 20~120minutes was the maximum ('cause I turned off the pc)

Please try the following fix.

• Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro of Sysnative forums) and save this to your Desktop.

• Download the file, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.

• On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.

• SFCFix will now process the script.

• Upload the output file SFCFix.txt to your OneDrive.

Restart Windows and see if you can install updates.

No, the SFCFix.zip is tailored for a specific issue. It can't be a common fix for all Windows Update issues.
