Realtek LAN/Wi-Fi driver was not on my network adapters. All I have from Realtek is Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller.

Hi Kev, thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, as per checking and analyzing the DMP files you have, there are errors with rtwlane01.sys, this is your Realtek Network driver, which is causing the issue, and to sort out the issue, kindly follow the steps below:

Method 1. Roll back Wi-Fi driver.

-Press the Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Network Adapters

-Look for the Realtek LAN/Wi-Fi driver

    -Right-click and click "Update Driver"

-Look for "Browse my computer for driver"

-Click "Let me pick drivers available drivers on my computer"

-Choose an old driver or other names of the driver then select it and hit next until it installs.

Note: If the issue persists, please download and install a LAN/Wi-Fi driver from your manufacturer's website and or update the BIOS with the help of the PC manufacturer.

Additional Note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device for any hardware-related issues.

Let me know how it goes and I hope that helps.

    Bernard

    Hello Kev,

My name is Gunasekar. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

The error "DPC_Watchdog_Violation" BSOD occurs when a device driver or hardware component isn't working as expected which causes your system to crash.

    • It is recommended to update your drivers to fix the error. Try updating these drivers in the device manager,

Graphic card drivers, Network drivers, Audio drivers, Bluetooth drivers, BIOS and Chipset drivers.

    A. Open Device Manager.

    B. Expand each driver section listed above.

    C. Right-click the drivers and select Update drivers, Search automatically for drivers. Follow the instructions to complete the update.

If Windows does not find any updated drivers, please go to the PC manufacturer's website and install the drivers listed above.

    • If you are still experiencing the BSOD error, run a System scan.

    1. In the search box on the taskbar, type command prompt, right-click and "Select Run as administrator", and then select Yes.
    2. Type or Paste the Command lines one by one and click enter. (Note: Each command may take a few minutes to start and complete. Do not copy-paste the commands all at once)

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    sfc /scannow

    1. After you see a message that says, "Verification 100% complete," type exit and press Enter.
    2. Restart your PC.

    • If you are experiencing issues, share your memory dumps to OneDrive for analysis.
