Can Not Find Script File (Resolved)

Hi guys,

Hope you're all going well.

I've been getting this error today: https://i.imgur.com/UkQgnAD.png

I did run a malware scan, which came out clean (used Malwarebytes).

Also, I created the file with the same name in the same path, however, the error persists.

The error just pops up, it doesn't cause any other malfunctions with apps, gaming, video, audio, etc.

Any ideas on how this can be fixed?

Cheers,

Deyan

Hi Deyan,

  • Download fixlist.txt
  • Save Fixlist.txt to the folder where EnglishFRST64.exe is located.
  • Close all program windows.
  • Launch the Farbar Scanner tool and click "Fix".
  • Restart Windows when prompted.
  • Upload the output log file (FixLog.txt) to your OneDrive.

The script ran fine. To remove files/folders created by the Farbar scanner, rename FRST64.exe to Uninstall.exe and run it. The procedure requires a reboot.

Please run the Farbar Scanner and share your logs.

    1. Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST64.exe)
    2. If the OS language is non-English, rename FRST64.exe to FRST64English.exe.
    3. Run the program. Don't check or uncheck any options. Click "Scan".
    4. Upload the two logs, FRST.txt and Addition.txt, to your OneDrive and share the link here.

(How-To: Share OneDrive files and folders - Microsoft Support)

Note: If Microsoft Edge or Chrome mislabels the Farbar Scanner executable as PUA/malware, choose to keep it by tapping … in the bottom bar, choosing Keep, and then choosing Keep anyway in the dialog that appears.
