Glad to help!
BSOD - ACPI_BIOS_ERROR
My laptop is Dell Inspiron 15 5000. Three days ago (June 3), it started crashing randomly - BSOD with code ACPI_BIOS_ERROR. It starts back but again after 10 minutes or so, crashes again. Can someone help? Thanks

Downgrading to 0.1.16.0 firmware is now an accepted solution to the problem (by the Dell support community and also acknowledged by Dell customer care/service). I have done that and not seen the BSOD so far. So, everything is good. Thanks.

Thank you. I have done as you asked.

I believe the problem arose because of Dell Inc. firmware 0.1.17.0 that was pushed onto my laptop on June 3rd. Perhaps if I can get back to the previous version of firmware, the problem can be solved at least temporarily.

2024-06-06T16:36:40+00:00 Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.
Please check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.
Open Windows File Explorer.
Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump
Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up.
Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox... etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link.
Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you.
