Computer Blackscreens While Playing Games

Question

Hello! It will crash to black screen, with the fans and lights still on, and the sound looping the last second of audio played. This forces me to hold the power button to restart.

Going to Event Viewer for Windows Logs presents an exception code: 0x8898008d

I have already attempted to: update and reinstall graphics drivers, reinstall windows 11, load optimized defaults in BIOS, and repair the games it fails on. This is a new issue, started a few days ago out of the blue

Specs: i7-11700F, 3060 Ti, B560 DS3H AC-Y1, 2 x TEAMGROUP ud4 3200 8gb

I see, yes it could be the game is not a demanding one.

I suggest installing a hardware monitoring application to monitor the temperature of your GPU.

Then you could try reseating your graphics card, clean the gold pins using a pencil eraser.

I just launched and played Half Life with no consequences, so I'm guessing it does only occur during higher resource usage. Of course, Half Life is a very undemanding game, so this test doesn't mean too much?

It has not happened while not playing games, it seemingly only occurs during high power/resource usage. There were no new softwares installed before wiping the computer, but wiping the pc would have cleared that if there was.
