My laptop for a few months has been refusing to update itself to the latest version of windows 11. I have ran the trouble shooter but it cannot fix the problem even though it says it got fixed. Reinstalling windows in an attempt to fix my corrupted files doesn't work and starts to undo any changes that were made to the device. Wiping the computer clean and reverting it to its factory state doesn't work and I am met with the same problem as the previous attempt. Updating my system seems to allow other updates install like graphics and windows defender updates. I have no viruses on my computer and I still can't figure out why it is doing this. I have ran the DISM commands only for it to fail to update. The error code that it gives me when it fails to update is 0x800f0991.
