Reference by pointer BSOD

Hi everybody

The past couple of days I've been getting a BSOD with the "reference by pointer" code. I have tried the driver verifier manager, the scannow command in cmd, the chkdsk command and there are no errors found and the pc is up to date. I read online that if you've recently connected now hardware on your computer you might get blue screens. I recently switched to bluetooth peripherals an although I didnt have any problems with the bluetooth mouse I started having blue screens when i connected the bluetooth keyboard about a month later. I am looking for a solution because it happens suddenly and i cant find a visible problem.

Thanks in advance.

The minidumps mention the Synaptics Touchpad driver "SynTP.sys" as the cause of the crashes.

Download the latest touchpad driver for your laptop from the link below and install it.

    https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp141001-141500/...

(Run the downloaded EXE file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.)

After installing this driver, restart your PC, and see if the system will work stable.

If the BSOD occurs again, send the minidump created by it. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

See if your computer is creating minidump files.

    These files are in "C:\Windows\Minidump".

Copy any files you have to your desktop and store them in a ZIP file. Then upload the ZIP file to the cloud (OneDrive), choose to share it, and get the link.

Post the link to the ZIP file here so I can have a look.

I await your reply. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.
