Windows Activation Failed Error code: 0xC004F012

I bought my laptop Lenovo Legion 5 pro last year with pre-installed windows 10 Pro (OEM) upgraded to windows 11 license activated and everything was fine, yesterday for no reason there was a request to activate my window on the bottom right corner of my screen I tried to troubleshoot the activation but an error with having problems to connect to the internet and contact system administrator occurs even-though I'm connected to the internet. I tried to reenter the activation code it says that it is invalid.

Error code: 0xC004F012

Any solution to this problem, much appreciated.

Regards,

Adel Mutawi

    Hello,adel mutawi

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.

I see that you are experiencing a Windows activation failure with error code 0xC004F012, which usually means that the activation key cannot be used to activate Windows.

I see that you are using a pre-installed OEM version of Windows, because it is a specific version pre-installed on the computer by the device manufacturer. You need to contact Lenovo Legion 5 Pro laptop after-sales technical support for further assistance and support to resolve the activation issue. They should be able to provide a customized activation key based on your product information, assist in troubleshooting, and other necessary support services.

Here I provide you with access to the Lenovo notebook technical support website
