Hello, I recently updated all of my drivers and checked to see everything was up to date on my MSI laptop. It says everything is updated including my Intel UHD Graphics driver and my NVIDIA GeForce driver as well. However I am experiencing constant flickering everything I open my browsers, or when I try watching a vide the video will flicker or go green. It was also having a transparency issue where my browsers and other windows were transparent with everything. I have had this issue in the past but it was resolved with a simple update however this time it wont go away no matter what I try. I tried updating the Intel driver on its own but when i do that it sends it back to its 2020 version. It doesn't offer a roll back driver option either since its greyed out. I've tried disabling it (not uninstalling) and all that did was make everything look a lot more zoomed in. In case this information might help this is the driver version my Intel UHD is running on right now 31.0.101.2128. My drivers updating program doesn't seem to find any other driver to update though. I'm very confused on the issue and would really appreciate any help. thank you.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    1

You indicate your have a driver updating program, is that some 3rd party utility you use to install/update your drivers?

    2

Completely remove the current Nvidia device driver using the widely available free DDU utility, then restart your PC and go to the Nvidia website to download and install a slightly older version of the Nvidia device driver.

A slightly older version of that driver is more stable than the latest version.
