Bluetooth Issues

New PC Build, having an issue connecting headphones to bluetooth on my PC. I've verified that bluetooth is on, when I "Add a device" the headphones will sometimes appear on the list, sometimes not. Sometimes it'll appear but then disappear. When the headphones do show up on the list and I hit connect, I get a message saying we got no response from the device.

I have tried with three different sets of headphones, and have verified that all three headphones work and connect instantly to my phone. I have the latest drivers installed.

Running Windows 11 Home version 10.0.22631, Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX Motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU.

Any ideas?

Yes, it ended up being a faulty motherboard. I replaced the motherboard and it worked perfectly after that.

    Hi, BigBear48

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

We understand that you have encountered the problem that Bluetooth cannot connect.

Do you use the other three headphones to test whether you can connect on the current computer?

If all Bluetooth headsets have similar problems when connected, it means that your motherboard Bluetooth driver has compatibility problems. We notice that your motherboard model is Gigabyte B650m. Through feedback from other users with the same configuration, this may be related to Gigabyte motherboard. Is there a Bluetooth antenna installed on your motherboard (if any)?

Next, I suggest that you can download GCC(GIGABYTE Control Center) from GIGABYTE Official Site.

Then download the Bluetooth driver of your motherboard in that software.

In addition, if the driver in GCC still doesn't work, please go to official website, Gigabyte, manually download the driver that meets the model of Bluetooth device on your motherboard and try again.

You are welcome to contact us at any time if the situation develops.

    Best Regards
