Hi,

My Surface Book 3 has been trying to update to Windows 11, version 23H2 for a couple of weeks now but the update keeps failing. The error code is 0x800f0805. I've tried a couple of solutions found in various threads but nothing has worked. I don't even remember everything I've tried at this point, but willing to start from scratch and work through the list. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Kailyn,

I'm Ramesh, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

Please use the Windows 11 ISO to upgrade to 23H2. The instructions are in the following community article.

How to run In-place upgrade in Windows 11 - Microsoft Community:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

Your apps, settings, and files will be kept by default during a repair install/in-place upgrade.

Note: If you see the following screen (with grayed-out options), abort the setup and post the screenshot of that dialog here. This issue can occur if you use a different language ISO.
