Login issues after automatic update

Hey, my grandma's laptop updated by itself. She's sleeping right now but I'm not sure if she remembers her microsoft password which is the only option it's giving to log in with. Prior to the update, the login was just the regular laptop password and now it won't let you do that. I was wondering if there was a way I could change it back without logging in to her Microsoft account. It'd be great if someone could help me with this as soon as possible, thank you.

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    To be able to switch back to a local account, you would need to be able to get into Windows.

    If she does not remember her password, to reset the Microsoft account password, you can use the steps on this link:
