Thank you for your reply.
I do have the registry key enabled.
I have posted to the Feedback Hub, twice, get the "Hay, thanks for sending ......" but nothing further.
It would be nice to recover this capability!

Hi, Peter Mc12.
Welcome to Microsoft support community.
We noticed that the you have problem with the snap the cursor to default button at dialog function at your mouse setting. Have you use this function before?
From our test, this function does not work for us either. So I guess this might not be your problem.
You can try to find if your setting is registered under the registry table by: | 1. Type "CMD" at start menu<br><br>2. Input below command<br><br> <br><br>req query "HKCU\CONTROL PANEL\MOUSE"<br><br> <br><br>You could see a value called "SnapToDefaultButton", if it is "1", you could know the setting has already being store at system. In our test environment while we apply the setting it will change but no actual behavior change. | | --- |
In that case, I would suggest you strike a feedback, here is how: | Thank you for your feedback! You can also submit your problem through the Feedback Hub (if convenient, please provide as much detail as possible, including pictures, repro videos, etc.).<br><br>Please share the feedback link after submitting, I will submit your feedback to the relevant team for investigation through internal channels. | | --- |
I know this is not the result you want, let us know what you concerned about and I will see if I could help you someway. Looking forward about your reply.
Best Regards
