i have tried everything.

  1. i ran the troubleshoot
  2. updated the drivers
  3. restarted my pc
  4. reinstalled the drivers
  5. tried removing and reconnecting the pods
  6. Restarting the bluetooth services in the services.msc

I am not able to see my airpods in the playback menu in the sound settings.

I am able to connect it to other laptops and my phone but not my laptop.

Before when i used to connect the airpods, it used to say (connected audio, music) now it just says connected and nothing else

when it says connected i can't disconnect it either.

When I first pair it, it says connected ready to go for a few seconds and then disconnects

Edit: Looks like no other bluetooth device connects too not just my airpods. I just tried to connect my headphones and the same thing happened

Another possible cause for this problem is the outdated version of Bios. There are some Bios updated on the Dell website to "Improve the system compatibility, stability, and performance". Downloading and installing the latest version of Bios (1.16.0) from this link might fix the problem.

Then you can use the "Auto-Detect and Install Driver Updates for AMD" from this link to install the latest version of the Chipset driver.

Hey, it still hasn't fixed the issue yet. When i pair my device, it stays in the audio section for about 2-3 seconds and then it disconnects and goes to the other devices section.

There is a new version of the Bluetooth driver (23.60.0) on the Intel website released on 6/25/2024. Downloading and installing the latest version of the Bluetooth driver from this link should fix the problem.

    Hi, Pradyumna,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

Usually, this problem is caused by a corrupted or outdated driver. Please provide some more details to help identify what is causing this problem. What is the model of your laptop?

Also, attach a screenshot of the System Information Page:

1-Right-click on Start then click on Run

2-Type: msinfo32 and click on Ok

And a screenshot of the version of the Bluetooth driver installed:

1-Right-click on Start then click on Device Manager

    2-Click to expand the Bluetooth

3-Right-click on the Bluetooth driver and click on properties

4-Take a screenshot of the General

5- Go to the Driver tab and take a screenshot

You can see at this link how to include a screenshot in your post.
