When was the last time it worked without any problems?
Is this a laptop, and are you using the built-in keyboard or an external one?
In the meantime, try running the Keyboard troubleshooter to see if it fixes the issue:
Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot.
Select Other Troubleshooters
Scroll down and select Keyboard, then click on Run.
