May I know the make and model of your device? Press Windows + R then type MSINFO32 then hit Enter:
Were there any changes made to your computer before the issue, such as installing new software or updates?
- Please look at your F keys (F1-F12) and look for the keyboard light icon. Press that key once to enable it, or press FN + that key.
- Run Keyboard troubleshooter:
Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot.
Select Other Troubleshooters
Scroll down and select Keyboard, then click on Run.
- Press Windows + X > Select Device Manager
Expand the Keyboards section.
Right-click on your keyboard driver and select Uninstall
Click Uninstall.
Restart your computer.
- Go to your PC manufacturer's support website, then download and install the keyboard driver for your device.
