    Apart from the malware that deleted Windows Defender there's also Floxif virus, so further scans will be needed after the FRST fixlist.

    • Download Fixlist.txt and save to the folder FRST64.exe is in
    • Run FRST64 and press 'Fix'

    Please share the resulting Fixlog.txt

    Delete the C:\FRST folder so that the next scan isn't detecting files in FRST's quarantine folder.

    Scan with ESET’s Free Online Scanner:

    [https://www.eset.com/au/home/online-scanner/](https://www.eset.com/au/home/online-scanner/ "www.eset.com") - click 'ONE-TIME SCAN'

    Post the results from the scan.

    The Floxif virus is a file infector so you need to scan again (and again) to see if it spread to other files, until there's no further detections. If scanning multiple times doesn't work, you'll have to perform a clean installation.

    Hi, I've split your reply into its own thread as there's a bit to sort out. Let me know when you see the thread.

    I want to get a file checked out. Select all the code text below including start and end, then press Ctrl + C to copy it.

    Run FRST and press 'Fix' - FRST will process the data from the clipboard.

    start::

    File: C:\Users\HP\AppData\Roaming\Ctrllocal3\CtrlHelp_uk_beta.exe

    end::

    Please post the output from Fixlog.txt
