Setting\Update\Recovery then if available "Go back to previous" otherwise you'll need to clean install it.

How can a company like Microsoft be such careless. It seems that more than 35% of the pc which forced to get the update have this freezing issue which usually occurs after 10 days (that's more than their default time window to go back to the version 1909). Both me and my brother have this problem. And for most of the customers clean install is not an option. They are stuck with an buggy un reliable machine. I missed my semester exam because their Microsoft Teames app caused the system wide freezing issue. Windows is being rediculous at this point.

If it is less than 10 days to your upgrade to V2004, you can downgrade back to V1909. See steps here:

If it is more than 10 days for upgrade to V2004, the option to downgrade will not be available and in that case I recommend you to clean install V2004.

If it has been less than 10 days since you upgraded to Windows 10 and you don’t delete Windows.old folder, then you can quite easily downgrade to your previous version of Windows. To do this, open the Start menu and select Settings, then Update & security. From there, select Recovery' and you'll see either Go back to Windows 10 1909.

If it's been over 10 days since you upgrade to Windows 10 2004, then you won't see this option, you will need to perform a clean install of Windows 10 1909.
