    Hello, s tuhin subudhi

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Hi, thanks for your feedback on the problem, it seems that your computer is experiencing sound problems.

Can I ask if the sound issue you are experiencing is the inability to do external playback properly or the inability to use the microphone, you can add some information here.

In addition you can provide the model number of your computer.

I will start by providing you with some common steps that you can refer to:

    1. Check the volume setting:
    • In Windows OS, you can click the volume icon in the lower right corner of the taskbar to adjust the volume. Make sure the volume is not muted and the volume is set appropriately.
    1. Check the audio output device:
    • If you are using headphones or speakers, make sure they are properly connected to your computer's audio jack and are not damaged.
    • If your computer has more than one audio output port, try switching to a different port to determine if the problem is with the port.
    1. Driver updates:
    • In Windows, you can check and update the sound card driver by opening the Device Manager. Right-click “This computer” (or “Computer”), select “Manage”, and then select “Device Manager”. “. Find your sound card under “Sound, Video and Game Controllers”, right-click and select “Update Drivers”.
    1. Check the audio line:
    • Check that the audio line is intact and properly connected to the computer and audio device.
    1. Reboot the system:
    • Try restarting your computer, sometimes this can clear up temporary software problems.
    1. Check software settings:
    • If only a specific application is not playing sound, check the sound settings of that application to make sure the sound output is set correctly.
    1. Troubleshoot hardware problems:
    • If none of the above methods can solve the problem, it may be caused by a hardware failure. You can try connecting other audio devices, such as external speakers or headphones, to determine whether the problem is with the computer or the audio device. If the other audio devices also can't work, it may be the computer's sound card or other hardware problems, you can contact the computer's brand after-sales service for overhaul.

You can do some feedback after this, thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

    Best regards
