Issues figuring out problem causing DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE BSOD

Hello All,

I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out an issue on a Dell Precision 5560 that is causing a BSOD very randomly. somtimes it will happen right after boot and sometimes I can browse for hours with no issue. I almost feel like it has to do with the trackpad since if I use a attached mouse I seem to have no issues but the dump file seems to point to the pci.sys and possibly the nvidia driver more specifically. I am not 100% sure so some clarification would be nice.

Your minidump file does indicate that it is the device driver on your Nvidia graphics card that is causing the system to crash

Completely remove the current Nvidia device driver using the widely available free DDU utility, then restart your PC and go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturer's website to download and install their recommended version of the Nvidia device driver.

A slightly older version of that driver is more stable than the latest version.
