Hi.

I have a new Lenovo Yoga laptop, but sometimes it crashes and throws a bsod at me when using Chrome. But I'm not sure that Chrome is the cause of the problem. Before crashing it will freeze for a couple of seconds and then reboot

Here is a link to the crash dumps: Minidumps

I hope you guys can help me out

Best regards

Your chipset drivers may be up to date, but they may also be corrupt, this is the driver you need to install from the support page for your laptop on this link:

Hi Dave! Thank you for your help.

Maybe it is a stupid question. But how do I update the chipset drivers? I have a Yoga Slim 6 14IAP8 - Type 82WU.

Through Lenovo website I can see that I have the lastest BIOS update. But I'm sure if I have the latest chipset drivers.

When I'm using Intels tools I need this update:

Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - Windows* - But it comes with this "warning":

Installing this graphics driver from Intel will remove customizations from your computer manufacturer (OEM)

When I'm using the Lenovos tools it says all is updated? Can this cause the problem?

And thank you again for answering.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Your minidump files all indicate the Intel storage driver is causing your PC to crash.

Go to the support page for your PC or Motherboard on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and install the version of Chipset drivers they recommend and while there, if you do not have your drive encrypted with Bitlocker, check for any BIOS update that may need to be installed
