Microsoft needs to improve

You should be ashamed of yourselves. If you created a better OS you wouldn't have to depend on hardware manufacturers dropping driver support to get people to move to the new version? Am I wrong? I just run Linux for everything else other that gaming. Hopefully soon that will end.

I apologize. I got warning about needing to upgrade, then went off deep end. Wish we could do something. I'll admit I was wrong post here in this way. Any suggestions no how to fix it? I'm obviously not the only one thinking this. What can we do?

Evidently, you're not aware that Microsoft Community is made up of other Microsoft users like yourself. There's nobody from Microsoft here, and Microsoft doesn't read these forums. This is user-to-user help. We volunteer our time to help each other. Even those who speak rudely to us.

P.S. Nobody here created any operating systems.

Microsoft (and Google and Apple and Samsung and everyone else) create new versions of their software for two reasons: (1) customers demand new features; and (2) hackers figure out how to attack the existing version.

Then its up to hardware manufacturers and application developers to decide if they will support the new version.

Am I wrong?
