Monitor settings randomly change

I have a Philips monitor with the SmartImage feature, and after a Windows update, it started changing settings on its own, like switching the SmartImage mode from Racing to Gamer1. I tried downloading the latest drivers for both the monitor and graphics card, but the issue is not fixed.

My Laptop Details:

  • 15.6 Inch
  • Full HD
  • AMD Ryzen 7 processor
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • 1 TB SSD
  • AMD Radeon Graphics

You can uninstall the updates you have installed in chronological order, as seen in the update history. If the problem persists after uninstalling please continue uninstalling. If the problem persists after uninstalling all of them, you can try upgrading in place.

Disclaimer: Let’s try performing an in-place install or in-place upgrade which will refresh your Windows files and operating system without removing files or applications. That being said, we always recommend that if you have important data, you should back it up before making large system changes. If you want to back up your data first, please do so. Once you are done backing up, you can follow the steps in the following guides:
