Windows completely broken/bricked

My computer has been working fine for years now, up until today.

I pressed the power button of my pc and it didn't get any further than the windows loading screen. I restarted it, again, stuck on the loading screen. Third time it activated the automatic repair, which didn't help because guess what, that got stuck too. With the automatic repair the Loading circle goes full circle twice, then the screen goes black.

I tried using a USB with the media creation tool in order to fix it through there, same thing. Just nothing. I am unable to boot into my pc.

I tried taking out my boot SSD, maybe there was something wrong with that, plugged in the USB drive with the Media Creation Tool, again, stuck. I am also unable to perform a safe boot.

I am currently just stuck, i don't know what to do anymore.

My specs in case they matter:

  • CPU: I7 12700K
  • GPU; RTX 3070
  • Motherboard: MSI MPG Z690
  • RAM: 4x 8gb 3600Mhz
  • PSU: Corsair RM850
  • Storage: 1x 500GB Samsung 970 Evo Plus (Boot SSD)
              2x 2TB Samsung 970 evo

              1x 4TB Toshiba HDD

              1x 1TB SeaGate Baracuda HDD

    Hello

It’s great to hear that you were able to resolve the issue by unplugging and replugging your HDDs. Sometimes, unexpected issues like this can occur due to various factors such as corrupted files, hardware conflicts, or even temporary glitches in the system.

Since your computer is working fine now after reattaching the HDDs, it’s possible that there was a temporary issue with the connection or the way Windows was interacting with the drives. By removing and reinserting them, you may have reset something that was causing the problem.

If the issue happens again in the future, you could try the following steps:

    1.	Run a disk check: Use Windows’ built-in disk checking tool to scan for and repair any potential errors on your hard drives.

    2.	Check for driver updates: Make sure all your drivers, especially those related to storage devices, are up-to-date.

    3.	Monitor for overheating: Check your system’s temperature to ensure it’s not overheating, as this can sometimes cause unexpected behavior.

    4.	Backup your data: Regularly back up your important files to prevent data loss in case of unexpected issues.

If the problem persists or if you encounter any other issues, feel free to reach out for further assistance.

well then, i might have ran to online forums to soon.

I unplugged both my HDD's and it worked fine, i plugged them back in and it worked again. I have no idea what caused Windows to fully brick since my HDD's have no windows related files on them.
