I just want to verify the Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac is not designed to allow connection FROM a Mac client computer TO a Mac host computer. It is designed only to connect to a PC.

Apologies if this is wrong forum.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

That is correct, the Microsoft Remote Desktop app is not designed to connect one Mac to another Mac, it is for connecting from a Mac to Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 and Windows PC's, apple provide their own Apple Remote Desktop software to connect to another Mac.
