Audio Driver installed but no sound output/input - No audio device found - Lenovo

My laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen using Window 10. The original audio driver is Intel(R) Display Audio with device status: "This device is working properly" in properties. However, there is "no output/input device found" in the sound settings and the headphone jack in the laptop is also not working.

What I did to fix it but fail are:

  1. Update Intel(R) Display Audio -> Restart -> No improvements
  2. Install Realtek audio driver both from the manufacturer's website and Add legacy hardware -> Fail mid download -> Problem: Stop code (SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED), What failed (RTKVHD64.sys) -> Unable to install Realtek audio driver -> No improvements
  3. I have tried all the youtube's methods too for a year now and no lucks

History:

This problem happens for 1.5 years now. At first, I could install other drivers like the ones from Microsoft, Realtek and used them fine for a time. After a small period, I lost the audio again and tried to fix with all the youtube's methods but failed. Then my laptop just magically fixed itself for some reasons that I don't know. And then it would fail again after a while. The cycle kept repeated until now.

I have been using my earphones with bluetooth for a year now and I can't keep this up anymore. So I would be grateful if someone could help me fixing this problem, please.

Should I download the update as in the image? because most people around me said updating can bring problems.
