Please try to restart (not shutdown) your computer 4 times, let it reach your desktop before the next restart and check if it made any difference. If the issue still persists, please perform the troubleshooting methods below and check if any of the resolves fixes the issue.
Method 1: Roll-back driver
- Open run box by pressing Windows Key + R and type devmgmt.msc then hit enter
- Locate and expand Network adapters
- Right-click on the driver and select Update driver
- Select Browse my computer for drivers
- Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
- Select any older driver from the list and click next
- Wait for the process to complete, once completed, restart your computer and check if it resolves your issue.
Method 2: Go to the manufacturer's website
- Open run-box by pressing windows key + R, type msinfo32 and hit enter.
- Look for your System Model and System Manufacturer, take note of them.
- Using your old laptop, go to the manufacturer's website (of your new computer) and search for your network adapter driver using the information that you noted.
- Download the driver using your old laptop, then transfer it to your new laptop and install it, restart your computer and check if the issue still persists.
