Task Manager Randomly Freezing Computer After Update, breaks free when task manager opened

Hello, I am using a Dell Latitude 7430 with windows 11. Several weeks ago after an update, my computer started randomly freezing regardless of how many applications I had running or the specific applications used. I can use CTRL-ALT-Delete to access task manager. It will show a high CPU usage by task manager (60%+), then immediately go down (10-15%) and everything becomes functional again. We tried uninstalling and re-installing windows with no luck. Not sure what else to try. Thanks!

Managed to find a solution on a different website. Logitech 705 wireless mouse was likely malfunctioning causing interference. I've been using said mouse for about a year and had loved it which is unfortunate. Bought a new mouse to confirm and my issues have since ceased.

"Just posting FYI: Moving the Logitech USB receiver to a USB port on the opposite side of the computer has resolved the issue. From my reading around the internet, the Logitech “Unifying Receiver” is a USB 2.0 device, and plugging it into a USB 3.0 port, or having it in close proximity to a USB 3.0 port, can result in interference which can cause the random freezes we have been seeing. It’s enough of an issue that some users have reported needing a USB extension cable to get the receiver far enough away from any 3.0 ports to resolve the issue."

Accessed Dell support specific to your tag# to run their update?

    Or even diagnostics?
