Laptop's cursor not working

Laptop's cursor stops working several times during the day, it doesn't disappear but just stops working. I can move it but I can't select anything, switch tabs or do anything that a cursor lets you do.
I have already tried updating the driver, it did not work.

Thank you for letting me know.

You don't have to send all, just check if there are any yellow triangle warning signs in any of the drivers under Human Interface Devices or Mice and other pointing devices. If there are none, please let me know instead.

Regarding the laptop model, given that you are using an HP Pavilion x360 14ba0xx convertible laptop and experiencing cursor issues, does the cursor problem occur in both tablet and laptop modes, or is it confined to one? If updating the driver didn't help, have you tried using an older driver version?

There are so many drivers, which ones do you want in the screenshot?

Uninstalling the driver did not help.

Hi Annika, I am John J.D., a fellow Microsoft user like you.

I understand your frustration, and I'm here to help. Have you checked if there are any driver errors in Device Manager, specifically under Human Interface Devices or Mice and other pointing devices? If possible, could you share a screenshot?

Additionally, have you tried uninstalling the driver and restarting your laptop?

You can find instructions to reinstall the driver here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/fix... Does the issue persists?

If the issue persists, does it occur when you use the FN function?

Could you also provide the model of your laptop? This will help us both troubleshoot further together.

    John J.D.

You update drivers & bios via that laptop makers update tool and no other source

The driver was already update, hence i changed the driver. I did not use any outside source.
and I dont know what bios is.
