In windows installer we used to access cmd by pressing shift + F10. Now it does not work. Does its support removed? Shortcut changed on some other issue?

I tried many times and on many devices. Same every where.

This screen. Both when updating or installing fresh.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The Shift + F10 key shortcut was not removed, it still works when installing Windows from a bootable USB, but it will not work on that updates screen in your screenshot.

Are you currently installing Window's from a bootable USB, at what stage in the processes is that operation at?

    I was updating windows.

And it used to work on updates too but not now.

I like to watch whats ongoing in background. And sometimes may need to stop unnecessary proceess to make it faster... Like sysmain. Even though its not wise...🤗

I have not seen Shift + F10 work on normal Windows updates, maybe it did previously, I do think it is unwise to stop any process that is running when updating Windows, that may result in system file corruption, the Shift + F10 shortcut is there for troubleshooting when installing Windows using a bootable USB
