Labels overlapping in taskbar

Why the labels are on top of each other as in the screenshot? This happens once or twice per week.

    This issue usually occurs due to one of the following reasons:

    The align icons to grid is disabled.

    Display Resolution issue

    3rd party app conflict

    Pending Windows update

    In case the issue happened again, it would be best to submit a ticket to Windows Developers so they could check this as well.

    Hi Christine,

    Thank you for your help. You can see the windows version and build in the pic:

    I tried restarting the explorer process and it worked, and it usually works. My question is why is this a normal behavior that I experience occasionally?

    I'm Christine, I can see here that your icons on your taskbar are overlapping. No worries, I'll do my best to help you.

    May I know the version or build of Windows that you're running? (Please press Windows key+R and type winver and hit enter)

    Kindly check and follow the steps below:

    Right click on start menu and choose Task Manager

    Please click Details Tab and end the task of explorer.exe

    Then click Run New Task and type explorer.exe and hit enter

    Kindly check if the issue persists.
