Microsoft defender

I had to do a rebuild of my windows 11 dell, and when all was done, Microsoft defender showed 3 devices protected???

I signed out of 2 of them which had my computer name listed, now it says this desktop is no longer protected?

It tells me to sign back in to it, but I don't know how.

When I open defender it says, " Hello Joseph", but it used to show 1 device protected with my last name which is my computer name. What should I do?

Joe

May depend on what exactly you mean by "rebuild"

It means I did a clean install of windows 11. Defender is part of Microsoft Office Family, so when I signed into that, Defender showed 3 accounts protected??? I signed out of 2, then none were protected. I need to sign back into defender.
