Hello, I have a problem that I can't find any information about. When I try to do a simple task (e.g., going to display settings by right-clicking on the desktop, using Windowskey+Pause Break, etc etc), it gives me this error from Windows Script Host: "Cannot find script file 'C:\Users\maria\AppData\Local\Temp\millionpurple066.vbs'." I don't know what I can do to fix it, and I've tried searching on Google and YouTube to find a solution. So, if someone could help me, I would be grateful.

Ok, in the highlighted yellow section, did they all say "file not find"? If so, yes, they are safe to delete. These means the record is just residue while the app is already gone.

    Hello, this is Emily.

Download this free tool: https://learn.microsoft.com/sysinternals/downlo... click Run now from Sysinternals Live. It should download the file. You can go ahead and run it. Then use the spyglass icon to search for "millionpurple066.vbs" and see if it finds any. If so, you can right click and delete.

Restart the computer after that, and see if it works after that.

It didn't find it. I think 'millionpurple066.vbs' shouldn't be missing because the error says that it cannot find the script which is needed for these tasks

You are right, the issue here is because this vbs file has already been deleted or moved from that location. In the Autorun tool, our goal is NOT to locate the file, but to locate whatever that's calling for that vbs file, so that you can kill it, so that it won't trigger this error.

Did ou download the Sysinternals Live from the link I gave you? You can find that .exe file in your downloads folder, then right click and choose "run as administrator". Use Ctrl + F to see if you can find it again. If not, click on the "Scheduled Tasks" tab. Right click on anything that's highlighted in yellow, and delete those entries.

Restart and see if it helps.

Yes, I installed the app, but I want to ask and be sure if it's safe to delete "Microsoft/Windows/UpdateOrchestrator/Reboot_AC" "/Microsoft/Windows/UptadeOrchestrator/Reboot_Battery" and "/Microsoft/Windows/UptadeOrchestrator/USO_UxBroker" because there are highlighted in yellow.
I don't want to regret making a mistake which would cause some pc problems
