Went to create an image of the SSD for a back up using Macrium Reflectand it locked the drive , when I go to Computer mangment it tells me its BitLocker Encrypted

so I went on the hunt via command line, this does not make alot of sense to me, we are trying to recover the data,

But it says it is encrypted but not locked, and no key found either

is this a bios related issue ?

If I can't get into C: drive then why does regedit still come up ?

We had a look at the BCD too and as you can see the device osdvice is not there

I'm trying but I'm completely lost any help would be great, but we dont want to loose the data either

NO I can't boot into Windows 11 and this is not a 2nd drive, C drive is the main drive were the data is stored, Windows was working before I started backing up using Macrium Reflectand but the hard drive was full, I had to clear room using cleanmgr just to free a bit of room to install Macrium Reflectand.

Now it says it is encrypted but not locked, I think the problem is It detected unauthorised access and locked it. meaning Windows 11 detected unauthorised access.

This is a HP computer and does have TPM in the bois, thou I will give BitLocker Repair Tool a go.

If you can still boot windows and this drive is a second drive then try this

BitLocker Repair Tool: Recover data from inaccessible encrypted drive (thewindowsclub.com)

If you cannot access the drive because there is bot Recovery key on the account for the device then the data is lost, there is no workaround.
