Hello,

I can't connect my device to PhoneLink for Iphone. I have IOS Version 17.4.1 and Windows 11 on a desktop. I have already reached out case#7039133750- Extremely helpful ended up

"performing in-place upgrade for Windows 11:

In-place upgrade is a process that will upgrade your device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files. Usually, it is used to repair corrupted system files, apps, and even incompatible drivers on the system."

and Case#7039152282- sent links but did not give me time to actual click the links before ending the chat. The link was to reach out to someone I hope this is the correct place. I have tried the QR code as well as the "manual" (which just takes you back to the app Link to Windows and repeats the same thing with a QR code) Nothing has worked. I have forgotten devices over and over again on both my iphone and pc. My pc and iphone can connect via bluetooth but the app phonelink is not proceeding. I have linked my phone with microsoft with edge as well.

    Hi Katalina,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

It sounds like you're having trouble trying to connect your iPhone to PhoneLink on Windows 11. Since you have already tried contacting support but did not get the in-place upgrade method for Windows, you can follow these steps:

Let’s try performing an in-place install or in-place upgrade which will refresh your Windows files and operating system without removing files or applications. That being said, we always recommend that if you have important data, you should back it up before making large system changes. If you want to back up your data first, please do so. Once you are done backing up, you can follow the steps in the following guides: How to run In-place upgrade in Windows 11 - Microsoft Community

Disclaimer: Please ensure that you backup any important data, including Documents, Pictures, Videos, and more.

I hope this helps. If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Your Sincerely

Hahn - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
