FILE EXPLORER missing icons upper left

Dear Community

Since I synced my work's OneDrive on my laptop I had several problems with my file explorer. Today l tried to de-link it and re-link it. Unfortunately most of the icons on the upper left side are gone now. When I searched for them, the location was on OneDrive. I managed to locate folders like "Documents" or "Desktop" back to under my user in OS (C:). However, I can't figure out how to make it appear again in the upper left:

It also seems I cannot upload any images here, for whatever reason. Furthermore, I cannot unpin the "OneDrive Documents" folder from quick access. I also tried to reset to default with the mentioned folders, but nothing happened. I even opened the "regedit" and changed somethings, but again no difference.

Before I reset my whole laptop I would love some inputs.

Thank you.

    Hi orlando,

If right-clicking on the Documents folder and clicking "Pin to Quick access" does not work, please try resetting the Quick access database as mentioned in the following thread:
