JAVA CONTROL PANEL GLITCH

After opening Configure Java on my PC, the Java Control Panel application loses its color and becomes yellow or dark, or the contrast becomes high. I have JDK 22 installed and JRE 8 installed. This issue affects my Logisim (logisim also becomes yellowish/random color) since it needs a minimum JRE of 1.5 to run.

Same issue here, Windows 11 and installed latest Java 8 (JRE) and JDK 22. I also have some Javas within my Unity packages, not sure if it affects it too. Google Play Games for PC gets the same color glitches as Java panel.

Edit: turns out it was actually Nvidia RTX Vibrance ON. Some apps like Google Play Games or Java Panel don't like that setting... Turning it off fixed the issue.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Logisim and the Java control panel are 3rd party apps, they may not be reading the theme set in Windows correctly, what theme are you using in Windows and do you have any high contrast theme set in Windows?

Using the default Windows theme. I almost tried all JRE versions. Here's video link to better understand my problem: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1o8xtG5Z-g5xkf3h-9uHMcQ8ds99LiP7F/view?usp=sharing

That is very strange, but if all other software apart from Logisim and the Java control panel are rendering correctly, then it must be those older apps cannot render correctly in Windows 11 because there is a newer graphics framework, that Java version is 20 years old.

JRE Version 8 Update 401 is the latest. This is weird indeed coz it works completely fine on my laptop. There is literally no solution on the internet. The closest I got is this Reddit post, and my stack overflow question was downvoted:( So, here I am.
