2024-03-28T08:45:59+00:00 Hi MLLBYW,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
BSOD is usually caused by a conflict with third-party software due to damage to the computer's hardware itself or incompatible drivers. You can try these methods:
- Unplug all external devices and restart the computer. External devices include USB flash drives, external printers, external third-party hardware devices, new hard disks and other spare parts. Unplug it and restart the computer to see if it can be restarted. If it can be restarted, try opening Discord again to see if the blue screen issue still occurs. If the BSOD problem does not appear, it means that the third-party hardware device has compatibility issues, and it is recommended to check the driver, patch, or firmware update of the external device to solve the problem.
- Can you share blue screen logs with me via private message? I will enable access to private messages for you. Check for .dmp files in the C:\Windows\Minidump directory. If so, please pack these files and share them with me via private message. Since these files detail what happens when the system crashes, this will help us solve your problem. If not, run the following command to try to enable it. Win logo key + Q, open the search box, type "cmd", then right-click on the command prompt, select "Run as administrator") and enter the following command.
This is required to enable BSOD logging. You should try visiting the C:\Windows\Minidump directory to see if there are any .dmp files after the following blue screen appears. If you need further help, please feel free to get back to me. Looking forward to your reply. Best Regards Miyeon | Microsoft Community Support Specialistwmic recoveros set DebugInfoType=3
