System Thread Exception Not Handled on Windows 11 when EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE is connected

Hi! My laptop keeps on restarting when I connect one of my external hard drive. Upon restart it shows STOPCODE: System Thread Exception Not Handled & WHAT FAILED: Ntfs.sys .

I already tried it with a different computer and it shows the same error. I also have another external hard drive and it's working just fine.

Is there a way to access my drive? I need my files.

    Hi ,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

Since the issue happens with two computers and other external devices work fine, probably the issue is from the external drive. If you have another cable, change it. Also try connecting the external drive to another USB port.

In the meantime, I can analyze the minidump file to identify the specific file that's causing the crash.

Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and copy any minidump files you find to your desktop. Afterward, share these files through OneDrive or Google Drive
